Elliott Banks Browne 2x British Mx2 Champion and now taking the next step to become Mx1 British Champion in 2015
Motocross plays a huge part in the Banks family history, spanning three very successful generations.
It all started with the legendary John Banks, Elliott’s grandfather, whose talent has passed down through the generations.
John was a house hold name in the 1960’s being crowned British Champion four times and world runner up in 64’ and ’66, and a household name when motocross was played on the ITV every Saturday afternoon! Now its played on Sky EVERY week!
Johns sons, Mark and Justin, followed in their father’s footsteps into motocross with a great deal of success. Mark became 125cc British Motocross champion and was runner up in the 250 British championship. He also competed on the world stage achieving 7th place, while Justin won several British schoolboy motocross championships.
Elliott has now taken up a new challenge in 2015. His goal is to win the British motocross championship as he has done twice before in the Mx2 class.
Elliott is involved with some of the biggest companies in the extreme sports world. Companies such as Red Bull Energy drink, Oakley goggles and Alpinestars have recruited Elliott, offering personal sponsorship and relying on for product placement. The importance of product advertisement and displaying strong brand awareness is a broader skill that Elliott is often commended for being highly successful at. With media bonuses up for grabs these products are promoted tirelessly within the sport therefore ensuring your company would receive this same global coverage.
“I know what it takes to be one of the best in the world and I have the passion and desire to do that. The rewards for all parties are highly desirable’.
